Darjeeling of My Childhood

In the misty embrace of the hills,
Where tea gardens whisper tales,
I recall the scent of morning dew,
And the song of the mountain trails.

Toy trains chugging through the green,
Echoes of laughter, sights unseen,
The warmth of the sun, the chill of the breeze,
Moments of joy, memories that please.

The bustling markets, colors so bright,
The serene monasteries, a peaceful sight,
In Darjeeling's heart, my childhood lies,
A treasure trove beneath the skies.
